Man on the River - TCUL Leadership

Once again we have done another "man on the street" interview... except this time it was on the River Walk in San Antonio for the 2010 Leadership Conference.  Watch the video to see what people think about credit unions and banks. It might suprise you...

Plus, if you have not seen the other "man on the street" interview videos, you can check them out with the links below.  Feel free to use the videos as a resource as your credit union begins to plan for 2011.  How will the answers and comments in these videos change the way you look to connect and build relationships within your community?

I enjoyed your Man on the River segment. It's so interesting to hear people give honest feedback and to hear one of the main reasons people use a bank vs. a credit union is because that's what their parents did. Addressing this mindset might be the key to reaching the millenials.

Thx for the note Zan and joining the conversation. You are 100% right on that working through parents can be a key strategy at connecting and building relationships with Gen Y.

Thanks guys for your videos. Several of the credit unions I'll be facilitating planning sessions for this fall are looking for ways to grow their membership and this will give them "real" food for thought. Jeanne Murphy - Growth Strategist - Strategic Solutions

Great video! Thanks for capturing and getting the conversation started of banks vs. credit unions. It would be neat to see a video with quotes from real people comparing megabanks to community banks – what noticeable difference do they experience? Do they feel like a person rather than a number?

Kasasa

Thx for the note Kasasa. It would be interesting to see for sure.
