At a Loss for Christmas Gift Ideas - Consider Paying It Forward

Sharing a little Christmas Season Love....

Looking to give something special to family, friends, clients, or co-workers, but haven’t figured out what to do? Consider a gift that encourages the receiver to pay it forward.

Here’s an idea from Elliott Masie’s Learning Trends (December 17, 2010):

Kiva Micro-Lending as a Bonus: Talking about changes, this year each of The MASIE Center staff received a $25 gift card to invest in a micro-loan in a developing country via Kiva. This is an interesting way to promote awareness of the challenges of the 3rd world and to also engage employees in a market/capitalism approach to solution seeking. Check it out at www.kiva.org .

Speaker, Doug Nielsen, sent out Share the Joy of the Season postcards. He attached 3 holiday buttons with a note: Wear one button and pass the other two along with a small act of kindness.
